A 25-year-old man is being charged after allegedly breaking in and stealing from two businesses.

Back in December 2018, a local business in Gregoire Lake Reserve and a gas station in Anzac were broken into.

Multiple items were stolen including a white flat deck Dodge Ram.

Nearly two years later and Wood Buffalo RCMP have now arrested Billy Thompson Cardinal.

He’s since been charged with three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of mischief, theft, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Cardinal has since been released and is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on Dec. 16, 2020.
