Suspected Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methamphetamine Seized From Edmonton Woman’s Vehicle Outside of Fort McMurray

An Edmonton woman with outstanding warrants has been arrested just outside of Fort McMurray.

Around 8:30 p.m. on November 3, the Wood Buffalo Integrated Traffic Unit pulled over a vehicle for speeding south of the community.

The driver allegedly showed a forged government-issued ID and was later identified as 25-year-old Brittney Leigh White.

During a search of the vehicle, the Mounties found 14 grams of suspected fentanyl, 28 grams of suspected cocaine, 3.5 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, multiple firearms, and an unknown amount of Canadian currency.

White has since been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, three counts of possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes, proceeds of crime under $5,000, identity fraud, use of a forged document, operating a vehicle while prohibited, and obstructing a peace officer.

She was also given provincial charges for speeding and transporting liquor in a vehicle with easy access.

White has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on November 24.
