A Conklin man has been arrested months after trying to ram a police car in Lac La Biche.

On October 14, RCMP arrested four individuals as part of a ‘warrant round-up’ which included 35-year-old Damien Quintal.

Back on February 29, the Mounties attempted to pull over his truck after he rammed multiple security vehicles around Beaver Lake.

Quintal allegedly tried ramming into a police vehicle before fleeing at a high rate of speed. Due to public safety, they didn’t chase after him at the time.

A warrant was officially issued in July when they identified Quintal. He was charged with flight from an officer, driving while uninsured, and driving while unauthorized.

He is slated to appear in a Lac La Biche courtroom on November 9.
