Three Individuals Charged After Downtown Drug Seizure

Three individuals are being charged for trafficking after a drug seizure in downtown Fort McMurray.

Wood Buffalo RCMP executed a search warrant on October 9 at a condo complex on Riedel Street.

There they found 166 grams of suspected cocaine and over $11,000 in Canadian currency.

As a result, they arrested 46-year-old Fort McMurray resident Becky Leanne Blonski, charging her with possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of trafficking cocaine, and failing to comply with conditions.

The Mounties also arrested 20-year-old Garry Roy Gibbons from Brandon, Manitoba, and 21-year-old Isaiah Thomas Molag from Abbotsford, British Columbia. Both were charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Each is set to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on October 13.
