The upcoming meeting for Wood Buffalo council will be in person.
Most meetings since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic have been held virtually, however, many residents have spoken out expressing issues over online delays and the fact more groups, such as schools, are returning to in-person.
Starting on Tuesday, council will return to live meetings at the Syncrude Athletic Park Clubhouse with the public invited to attend.
Those in attendance will be required to complete a screening assessment while being encouraged to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer.
Due to physical distancing requirements, public seating will be limited to nine individuals. The public is still being encouraged to watch the upcoming meetings online.
For those in attendance, entrances and exits will be designated with taping on the floor being used to help direct people to the proper spots.
Tuesday’s meeting gets underway at 4 p.m.
