Six New COVID-19 Cases in Fort McMurray, Three Additional Recoveries

There are six new cases of COVID-19 being found in Fort McMurray.

The province announced on Friday 122 new cases across Alberta. This raises the provincial total to 18,357 with 1,558 currently active.

The active cases in Fort McMurray went up slightly to 49 as three more individuals have recovered.

There were no changes in the rural areas over the past 24 hours, keeping the total of active cases at three.

In total, 290 individuals across the RMWB – 226 in Fort McMurray and 64 in the rural areas – have recovered.

They are among the 16,527 across the province. This represents just over 90 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, there were three new deaths from COVID-19 in Alberta over the past 24 hours – raising the total to 272.

One of the deaths throughout the pandemic was in Fort McMurray.
