Seven New COVID-19 Cases in Fort McMurray, Eight Additional Recoveries

Seven new cases of COVID-19 are popping up in Fort McMurray.

The province announced on Tuesday 124 new cases across Alberta. This raises the provincial total to 15,957 with 1,491 currently active.

The active total in Fort McMurray did go down slightly, currently sitting at 50, as eight other individuals have recovered.

There were no changes in the rural areas, keeping the total of active cases at four.

In total, 210 individuals across the RMWB – 151 in Fort McMurray and 59 in the rural areas – have recovered.

They are among the 14,212 across the province. This represents over 89 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, there were no new deaths from COVID-19 in Alberta over the past 24 hours – keeping the total at 254.

One of the deaths has been in Fort McMurray.
