Four New COVID-19 Cases in Fort McMurray

Four more cases of COVID-19 are popping up in Fort McMurray.

The province announced on Friday 158 new cases across Alberta.

This raises the provincial total to 13,476 with 1,185 currently active.

Fort McMurray also saw an additional recovery which put the active total at 21.

The rural areas continue to have no active cases.

Across the RMWB, 137 individuals – 77 in Fort McMurray and 60 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 12.054 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents over 89 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, there were no deaths from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours – keeping the death toll at 237.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
