CIM Annual Golf Tournament Raises $18K For Northern Lights Health Foundation

The Northern Lights Health Foundation is receiving $18,000.

The funds were raised last week at the annual CIM golf tournament which sold out despite almost being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The NLHF has had to cancel multiple fundraisers this year and the golf tournament organizers felt with some modifications they could still raise some funds for the foundation.

“The CIM Golf Tournament is an important fundraiser in support of the Health Foundation and we look forward to it each year,” said Cindy Amerongen, Executive Director of the NLHF.

“Despite the challenges, the tournament organizers rallied local businesses to sponsor and participate. It’s easy to see that we all have a common cause of supporting the healthcare services we want and need in our community.”

Over 140 individuals took part with the organizers noting all Alberta Health Services protocols were followed.
