Two New COVID-19 Cases in Fort McMurray

Two more cases of COVID-19 are being discovered in Fort McMurray.

The province announced on Wednesday 127 new cases across Alberta. This raises the provincial total to 13,210 with 1,176 currently active.

The new local cases raises the active total in the community to 14.

The rural areas continue to have no active cases.

Across the RMWB, 135 individuals – 75 in Fort McMurray and 60 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 11,799 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents over 89 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, there were no deaths from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours. The death toll remains at 235.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
