A new ambassador for the 2022 Arctic Winter Games is being named.

Fort McMurray born Brooke Voigt, a professional snowboarder and Olympian, is the official ambassador of the games.

Through the partnership, her achievements will be highlighted as she participates in multiple marketing and engagement initiatives to help support the success of the games and inspire participants.

“I’m really excited to see all the new young faces of Arctic Winter Games,” said Voigt.

“The Games were a significant stepping stone for me in the beginning of my career and I hope that’s the case for many athletes to come. It means a lot to me to be partnering with an event that helped me develop my passion for competition.”

The games will take place in Wood Buffalo from March 6 to 12, 2022.
