Parking Fees Returning At Northern Lights Regional Health Centre

You’ll soon have to pay again to park at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre.

Alberta Health Services announced on Thursday fees will return for employees on August 31 and for the public on September 1.

Parking at the hospital has been free since early April as the province noted they didn’t want the public to worry about these fees during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rates will be the same as before and won’t be rising.

Cash and coins will still be accepted at the parking meters and offices. AHS notes the machines will be cleaned regularly, while signs will be posted to remind residents to physical distance.

Individuals are reminded to only park in the visitor section, as the rest of the lots are used for staff at the hospital.
