Three More COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo, One Additional Recovery

Three more cases of COVID-19 are popping up in the RMWB.

The province announced on Tuesday 85 new cases across Alberta.

This raises the provincial total to 11,772 with 1,004 currently active.

Two of the local cases were in the rural areas, which also saw an additional recovery, putting the active total at seven.

Fort McMurray added an additional case which raises the total of active cases to 14.

Across the RMWB, 113 individuals – 60 in Fort McMurray and 53 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 10,552 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents over 89 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, three more people have died from the virus in Alberta – putting the death toll at 216.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
