Regional Committee Asking Residents To Share Experiences of Racism

People who’ve experienced racism across the RMWB are being asked to speak out.

The Regional Advisory Committee on Inclusion, Diversity, and Equality is holding a series of conversation cafes, the first happening on Saturday, where residents can anonymously share their lived experiences.

The committee is also looking for public recommendations on how the RMWB’s diversity plan should look.

The cafes will be hosted over zoom with Saturday’s happening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Those who can’t attend the first meeting are encouraged to join on August 12 and 22.

Residents must register to attend any of the cafes.
