Four Residents Charged After Multiple Drug Seizures

Four Fort McMurray residents are being charged after two drug seizures in Parsons Creek and Timberlea.

On July 30, the Wood Buffalo Drug Section executed search warrants on homes on Dakin Drive and Bacon Place, as well as a vehicle.

The Mounties found 213 grams of suspected cocaine, 124 grams of suspected methamphetamine, and over $42,000 in cash at the home on Bacon Place and six grams of cocaine and around $1,500 in cash between the home and vehicle on Dakin Drive.

As a result, 47-year-old Jeffrey Caines, 27-year-old Victoria Fionna Hayner, 39-year-old Daniel Summerfelt, and 19-year-old Kelsey Balsor have all been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

They both remain in custody, while Summerfelt and Balsor have been released from custody. All four are scheduled to appear in court on August 11.
