No New COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo

No new cases of COVID-19 are popping up in the RMWB over the past 24 hours.

The province announced on Friday 127 new cases across Alberta.

This raises the provincial total to 10,843 with 1,386 currently active.

Five cases remain active in Fort McMurray and another eight in the rural areas.

Across the RMWB, 100 individuals – 56 in Fort McMurray and 44 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 9,261 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents over 85 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, one more person had died from the virus in Alberta – putting the death toll at 196.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
