One More COVID-19 Case in Fort McMurray, Additional Recovery in Rural Areas

One more case of COVID-19 is being discovered in Fort McMurray.

The province announced on Wednesday 133 new cases across Alberta. This raises the provincial total to 10,603 with 1,430 currently active.

Four cases are now active in Fort McMurray, while one more person in the rural areas has recovered lowering the active total to nine.

In total, 13 people currently have the virus across Wood Buffalo.

Across the RMWB, 98 individuals – 56 in Fort McMurray and 42 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 8,983 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents under 85 per cent of reported cases.

Meanwhile, three more people have died from the virus across the province.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
