Fort McKay Métis Group CEO Facing Sexual Assault Allegations

The CEO of the Fort McKay Mtis Group is temporarily stepping down after allegations of sexual assault.

Dwayne Roth has been charged with two counts of sexual assault stemming from an alleged incident outside of the RMWB.

In a statement sent to Mix News, Roth says he’s ‘unequivocally not guilty’ and feels this is a direct attack.

“I have hired an investigator and will be releasing his findings at the end of August. I am not able to comment further.”

Corporal Ron Bumbry, who confirmed the two charges of sexual assault, says Roth is scheduled to appear in court on August 10 in Lac La Biche.

In the meantime, the Fort McKay Mtis Group notes Crystal Young will take over business operations for the time
