No New COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo, 105 Across Alberta

There are no new cases of COVID-19 in the RMWB over the past 24 hours.

The province announced on Friday 105 new cases across the province.

This raises the total to 9,219 with 859 currently active.

There were no changes in the RMWB as two cases remain active in the rural areas and another in Fort McMurray.

Across the RMWB, 92 individuals – 55 in Fort McMurray and 37 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 8,193 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents just under 89 per cent of the reported cases.

Meanwhile, two more people have died from COVID-19 in the province – raising the death toll to 167.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
