RMWB Providing Non-Medical Masks on Municipal Buses

You can now get a non-medical mask just by riding a municipal bus.

Transit Services will be providing added protection for riders starting on Wednesday, July 15.

Rear door entry will continue with packages of four masks being put in a bag around the door.

The municipality is reminding those who take the bus and use any of the bus shelters to frequently wash their hands and avoid touching their face.

Meanwhile, these masks are part of the 300,000 the provincial government provided to the RMWB as part of the relaunch strategy to protect Albertans from a potential second wave of COVID-19.

They aren’t mandatory, however, it’s recommended you wear one when it’s hard to stay two metres away from others.
