No New COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo, Six Additional Recoveries

No new cases of COVID-19 are being discovered in Wood Buffalo over the past 24-hours.

The province announced on Wednesday 37 new cases in Alberta. This puts the provincial total at 8,519 with 584 currently active.

Fort McMurray saw one recovery, lowering the active total to seven.

Five other recoveries were reported in the rural areas which also saw five recoveries on Wednesday. They currently have 13 active cases.

They are among the 7,774 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents just over 91 per cent of the reported cases.

Meanwhile, three more people has died from COVID-19 in the province over the past day – raising the death toll to 161.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
