Keyano College is pushing their annual golf tournament to 2021.

The post-secondary school announced on Wednesday they are postponing the event due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

They add their main focus right now is on restoring their buildings that were damaged in the flood.

“While we look forward to this annual fundraiser in support of our students, the safety of all participants, volunteers, students, and staff is our top priority,” read a statement from Keyano.

The tournament is now slated to take place on June 5, 2021 at the Fort McMurray Golf Club.
