The First Responders Golf Tournament is returning for another year.
The Canadian Mental Health Association and Wood Buffalo RCMP are teaming up to host the event at the Fort McMurray Golf Club on August 29.
It’s the third year for the event which raises funds for mental health initiatives and awareness in the region while recognizing first responders and healthcare workers.
A shotgun start will kick off the tournament at 1:30 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there won’t be a dinner banquet afterwards.
Registration for the tournament opens on July 20.
