Two New COVID-19 Cases in Fort McMurray, One Case Removed in RMWB

Two more people have contracted COVID-19 in Fort McMurray.

The province announced on Friday 57 new cases across the province – raising the total to 8,259.

The new cases in Fort McMurray put the active total at 17.

Meanwhile, in the RMWB, the province removed one of the active cases, leaving them with 10 total.

Across the RMWB, 52 individuals – 37 in Fort McMurray and 15 in the rural areas – have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 7,532 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents over 91 per cent of the reported cases.

Meanwhile, there were no new deaths from COVID-19 in the province over the past 24-hours – keeping the death toll at 155.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
