The Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project may have finally gotten past its final hurdle.

For the second time in four months, the Supreme Court of Canada is dismissing several appeals against the project.

Canada’s top court announced on Thursday they would not hear the challenges from three Indigenous communities in British Columbia.

In March, they dismissed five appeals, while in January, they ruled against the B.C. government’s attempt to block the project.

The Federal Court of Appeal also dismissed four challenges against the pipeline in February.

In their decision, they noted the groups failed to prove the federal government failed to consult and accommodate during the re-initiated consultations.

The $12.6 billion expansion project is expected to be finished by 2022.
