Limit on Outdoor Gatherings For Community Events Increasing To 200 People

Outdoor gatherings can now have double the amount of people.

The provincial government announced on Tuesday they’re increasing the limit from 100 to 200 for community events.

All public health measures, including physical distancing, must continue to be followed.

The risk of COVID-19 is still high, however, evidence suggests it has a tougher time spreading in outdoor events.

Weddings, funerals, and indoor seated events are still limited at 100.

Indoor social gatherings can have up to 50 people in attendance.

There’s currently no cap on the number of people at worship gatherings, restaurants, cafes, lounges, bars, casinos, and bingo halls as long as public measures are followed.
