RCMP Release Details of Thickwood Break and Enter Suspect

Wood Buffalo RCMP are releasing more details about a man suspected of several break and enters in Thickwood.

In the morning of June 6, the Mounties received calls that an individual had tried to enter several homes through the front doors.

Multiple doorbell cameras show an individual in dark coloured pants and in a grey zip-up hooded sweatshirt attempting to get into the homes.

The man is decribed as Black, around 6’0”, 200 lbs, and is expected to be in his 20’s.

The police say some of the video surveillance they’ve received show items being stuffed underneath the suspect’s clothing, while other video suggests he may have had a bag.

The Mounties note they’ve received reports the individual may have been around Signal Road and Silin Forest Road around 3:30 a.m. Those in other sections of Thickwood who have footage of suspicious activity between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m on June 5 and 6 are asked to contact them at 780-788-4040.
