One New Case of COVID-19 in Wood Buffalo, Seven Active in Region

One new case of COVID-19 is popping up in Wood Buffalo over the past 24-hours.

The province announced on Sunday 50 new cases across Alberta – raising the total to 7,433.

The are six active cases in Fort McMurray, and one in the rural areas.

Across the RMWB, 24 individuals – 21 in Fort McMurray and three in the rural areas, have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 6,861 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents just under 93 per cent of cases.

Meanwhile, there are 150 deaths linked to COVID-19 across Alberta with none being reported today.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
