Four New COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo, Six Cases Active in Fort McMurray

Four new cases of COVID-19 are popping up in Wood Buffalo over the past 24-hours.

The province announced on Saturday 37 new cases across Alberta – raising the total to 7,383.

The are now six active cases in Fort McMurray, four more than Friday.

Across the RMWB, 24 individuals – 21 in Fort McMurray and three in the rural areas, have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 6,830 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents just under 93 per cent of cases.

Meanwhile, there are 150 deaths linked to COVID-19 across Alberta with one being reported today.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
