No New COVID-19 Cases in Wood Buffalo, Four Cases Active in Fort McMurray

No new cases of COVID-19 are popping up in Wood Buffalo over the past 24-hours.

The province announced on Thursday 40 new cases across Alberta – raising the total to 7,316.

Four cases remain active in Fort McMurray, one less from Wednesday, however, the province’s location map has removed a previously reported case from the community.

Across the RMWB, 22 individuals – 19 in Fort McMurray and three in the rural areas, have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 6,788 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents just under 93 per cent of cases.

Meanwhile, there are now 149 deaths linked to COVID-19 across Alberta. This is down two from what the province announced the previous day.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
