One More COVID-19 Recovery in Fort McMurray, No New Cases Across RMWB

One more person in Fort McMurray has recovered from COVID-19.

The province announced on Tuesday 27 new cases across Alberta – none of which were in the RMWB.

This puts the provincial total at 7,229.

The additional recovery means there are now three active cases in Fort McMurray. The three reported cases in the rural areas have all recovered.

In total, 22 people across the RMWB no longer have the virus.

They are among the 6,722 who’ve recovered across the province. This represents just under 93 per cent of cases.

Meanwhile, two more individuals have passed away from the virus in Alberta – raising the death toll to 151.

None of the deaths have been in Wood Buffalo.
