No New COVID-19 Cases in RMWB, Four Cases Remain Active in Fort McMurray

There are no new COVID-19 cases in the RMWB over the past 48-hours.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced on Monday there have been 64 new cases in the past two days – putting the provincial total at 7,202.

Four individuals continue to have the virus in Fort McMurray.

According to the provincial case map, three previously reported cases in the community are no longer connected, meaning there have been only 22 cases in Fort McMurray.

The three cases reported in the rural areas have all recovered.

In total, 6,698 have recovered across the province. This represents 93 of reported cases.

Meanwhile, three more individuals have passed away from the virus in Alberta in the past two days – raising the death toll to 149.

None of the deaths have been in Wood Buffalo.
