All off-leash dog parks in Fort McMurray are now open.

The Sara Holden Dog Park in Waterways reopened on Thursday after it was impacted by the recent flood.

The northside of the park, the side closer to the Raphael Cree Boat Launch, remains closed as remediation efforts continue.

All other off-leash dog parks in the region opened May 16.

Those who use the parks must remain two metres from others, avoid gathering in groups over 50, can’t share common equipment and toys, wash their hands regularly, and stay home if sick.

Dog waste bags are temporarily unavailable at the parks.
