Canada Post Setting Up Temporary Facility After Flood, Starting More Deliveries to Impacted Areas

A temporary Canada Post facility is being set up to replace the ones affected by the flood.

Residents who had mail boxes at 101-19 Reidel Street, Clearwater Sobeys and River City Shoppers Drug Mart will soon be able to get their mail at the new location.

The address of the facility is expected to be released next week.

Meanwhile, Canada Post is starting to deliver to more areas affected by the flood.

For areas that are unsafe to deliver to, parcels have been secured.

Residents who are waiting on their socioeconomic cheque can pick them up at Canada Post’s location on Signal Road.

For residents who cannot return home, Canada post is waiving the fees for mail forwarding for 12 months.
