One More COVID-19 Recovery in Fort McMurray, 11 Active Cases in Community

One more person in Fort McMurray has recovered from COVID-19.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced on Monday 70 new cases across the province – none of which in the RMWB.

This puts the provincial total at 5,836.

The number of active cases is now even with the number of recoveries in Fort McMurray – currently at 11.

The only two reported cases in the rural areas have both recovered.

These 13 individuals are among the 2,942 across Alberta who no longer have the virus.

Meanwhile, nine more people have died from COVID-19 – raising the death toll to 104.

None of these deaths have been in the RMWB.
