The province announced on Tuesday that staff and volunteers don’t have to stay two metres from each other and gatherings no longer have to be 15 people or less.
Those in the RMWB who aren’t helping with the flood must continue to follow these measures.
Those who don’t can still be fined.
Meanwhile, the province is shipping additional masks to the community to help limit the spread of the virus.
I know some have expressed concern about distancing and #COVID19AB gathering rules during #ymmflood.
Pleased to say @CMOH_Alberta has exempted @RMWoodBuffalo residents from these orders & we’re also shipping masks your way!
Thanks to all the helpers – you are truly #ymmstrong. pic.twitter.com/IbDld4ESLg
