Two More COVID-19 Cases in Fort McMurray, 15 Active Cases in Community

There are two more cases of COVID-19 in Fort McMurray.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, announced on Monday 216 new cases across Alberta – raising the total to 4,696.

There’s currently 15 active cases in Fort McMurray and none in the rural area.

There’s no additional information on these individuals.

Five people in Fort McMurray and two in the rural area have recovered from the virus.

They are among the 1,664 individuals across the province who are no longer sick from the illness.

Meanwhile, there are two more deaths in Alberta putting the death toll at 75.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.

There’s currently 87 people being treated in the hospital with 20 of those in the ICU.
