UPDATE: One More COVID-19 Case in Fort McMurray, 11 Active Cases In Community

An additional person in Fort McMurray has contracted COVID-19.

The province announced on Saturday 216 cases across Alberta – raising the total to 4,233.

The new local case means there are now 11 active in Fort McMurray.

There has been a rise of seven cases over the past five days.

There’s no additional information on these individuals.

Four others in the community and two in the rural area have already recovered from the virus.

Across the province, 1,471 individuals no longer have the virus.

Meanwhile, one more person has also died over the past 24 hours bringing the total to 73.

None of the deaths have been in the RMWB.
