Alberta Sending Health Supplies To Ontario, Quebec, B.C. To Help During COVID-19 Pandemic

Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia are receiving health supplies from Alberta.

The three provinces are currently being hit the hardest during the pandemic and are in need of supplies.

This includes N95 masks, procedural masks, gloves, goggles, and ventilators.

“Albertans should be very proud that we are able to extend a helping hand to our Canadian brothers and sisters in this time of need,” said Premier Jason Kenney, in a release.

“It is because of Albertans’ efforts to isolate and the incredible job being done by frontline health-care workers that we are in a position to support others during this crisis.”

Each will receive 250,000 N95 masks, while Ontario and Quebec will split the 30 million gloves and 4.5 million procedural masks. Quebec will also 87,000 goggles, and 50 ventilators.

The province says we currently have a healthy supply of items and, according to the projections, should be well prepared.

“We want all of our country to know that in both good times and bad, Alberta is there for Canada,” added Kenney.
