Third Person Recovers From COVID-19 in Fort McMurray, Two More Deaths In Province

There are two new deaths from COVID-19 across Alberta.

The province announced on Tuesday the additional deaths from the virus which brings the total to 26.

There are also 25 new cases across the province, putting the total at 1,373.

None are in Wood Buffalo, keeping it at six across the RMWB – four in Fort McMurray and two in the rural area.

A third person in Fort McMurray has also recovered from the virus. Across the province, 447 individuals have recovered.

The north zone, which includes the region, now has 90 cases.

The other cases are around Bonnyville, Westlock, Barrhead, Slave Lake, Big Lakes County, Northern Sunrise County, Mackenzie County, County of Northern Lights, Peace River, Municipal District of Smokey River, Grande Prairie, Municipal District of Greenville, and Jasper.

The four deaths in the north zone were in Jasper, Municipal District of Smokey River, and Big Lakes County.
