Two New Deaths From COVID-19 in Alberta, 106 New Cases Across Province

There are two new deaths from COVID-19 across the province.

The province announced on Saturday the additional deaths from the virus which brings the total to 20.

There are 106 new cases of the virus in Alberta. This sets the provincial total at 1,181.

Locally, 11 of these cases were in the north zone which keeps the number at 68. Three of these cases have been confirmed in Fort McMurray.

The others are in High Prairie, Slave Lake, Barrhead, Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Grande Prairie, Jasper, Hinton, Westlock, Peace River, High Level, and Valleyview.

Meanwhile, 133 cases are believed to be from community transmission.
