Primary Care Network Offering Temporary Hours For After Hours Clinic

The Wood Buffalo Primary Care Network will be operating the After Hours Clinic on new temporary hours.

Starting on Wednesday, people can walk-in between 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, and from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The organization announced in early March they would no longer be offering their After Hours Clinic during the workweek.

They noted this was due to the provincial government’s new limit on daily patients.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, physicians aren’t hitting their limits which is allowing the PCN to offer these temporary hours.

People can get more information by visiting the PCN’s website.

-An earlier version stated the After Hours Clinic takes appointments, however, it is a walk-in clinic
