You’re being asked to avoid parking on your street to allow crews an easier time clearing snow.

Winter Maintenance Zones aren’t being activated, however, the municipality plans on working on residential streets.

Those who continue to park on the street won’t be ticketed or fined, with the RMWB asking for cooperation so the work can be done safely and efficiently.

They’re currently focused on removing snow in targeted areas, minimizing buildup at residential intersections, removing snow from back alleyways, and preparing the roads for the Spring.

Residents are also being advised to not approach any of the equipment, follow at a safe distance, and allow space for visibility.
