79 New COVID-19 Cases in Alberta, None in Wood Buffalo

There are 79 new cases of COVID-19 across Alberta.

The provincial government announced on Saturday the new cases which brings the total to 621.

There are no new cases in Wood Buffalo, keeping the total at 4 in Fort McMurray.

The north zone, which includes the RMWB, now has 43 cases.

The others are in High Prairie, Slave Lake, Barrhead, Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Grande Prairie, Jasper, Hinton, Westlock, Peace River, High Level, and Valleyview.

The Calgary zone continues to be the hardest hit at 378 cases, followed by the Edmonton zone at 139.

Thirty-eight individuals are currently being hospitalized with 12 in the intensive care unit.
