CMHA Holding Multiple Sessions To Help People During COVID-19 Pandemic

The Canadian Mental Health Association of Wood Buffalo is holding multiple online sessions to help people cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.

People can learn more about dealing with an uncontrollable situation, finding motivation during this time, how to build resiliency, and more through the organization’s Recovery College.

The first sessions take place on Monday, March 30, with the rest happening during April.

Here’s the full schedule:

  • Dealing with Uncontrollable Circumstances, March 30 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Resilience, April 1 – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Accepting the Unwanted Guest, April 6, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Dealing with the Inner Critic, April 8, 10 a.m to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • The Window of Tolerance, April 14, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Self Love, April 15, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Finding Motivation, April 20, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

People can either sign up for the morning or afternoon sessions.

The CMHA is also providing tips for people who can’t participate.
