A number of well-known writers are coming to Wood Buffalo for an international festival.

The event, called Western Perceptions,” will take place next month and will give readers a chance to meet and learn from some of their favourite authors.

David Morrell, who is known for creating the character Rambo, and Lee Maracle, one of Canada’s most prolific
Indigenous authors are just a couple of writers who’ll be in attendance.

Morrell and two writers with DC Comics will also be putting on workshops.

The three-day event takes place from March 24-26 and will be hosted in several locations across Wood Buffalo, including in Fort McKay.
