The Wood Buffalo Economic Development Corporation is looking for photos to showcase the region.

The group is looking to gather a list of pictures to highlight all that the RMWB has to offer in an attempt to encourage more tourists and events to chose Wood Buffalo.

This includes potential photos of the northern lights, the Fort Chipewyan winter road, hiking trails, golf courses, and more.

“We’re really excited about showcasing those experiences not just to people here in the community but people across the province, across the country, and around the world,” said Tyler Cole, Economic Development Officer for Sports and Events.

He adds they also want to showcase the people living across the region.

“One of the things tourism groups are looking for now is they want to show not just the experience but people enjoying the experience itself.”

The campaign will run until this summer.

People whose photos are chosen will be compensated.
