The former frontman for the Barenaked Ladies is coming to Fort McMurray.

On Tuesday, Keyano College announced Canadian singer Steven Page will be gracing the stage at Keyano Theatre later this month.

Page was the lead for iconic Canadian rock group, Barenaked Ladies for more than 20 years.

Following his departure from the band in 2009, he began a solo career, releasing five albums and in 2017, he was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The concert is a part of the Syncrude Arts Alive series.

“We are thrilled to host such a well-known Canadian icon in Fort McMurray,” Keyano Theatre Director Alan Roberts said in a news release.

Page will be performing classics from his days with Barenaked Ladies and new original music at Keyano Theatre on January 22.
