It may be a good time to time to get your home on the market in Fort McMurray.

That’s according to the Fort McMurray REALTORS December report, who note inventory for single-family homes is the lowest its been since December of 2009.

There are currently 244 properties on the market – compared to 257 in 2018.

The realtors note single-family home sales were up 52 per cent compared to the same time last year, with 29 sold last December compared to 19 the year prior.

The average price is also down significantly from last year, with properties being sold for an average of over $451,714.

That’s compared to 2018’s average of $533,482
