A house fire in Parsons Creek is now under control.

The two-story blaze on Trillium Bay started shortly after 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

Regional Emergency Services quickly responded and were able to calm down the fire.

Firefighters continue to extinguish some hot spots on the property.

There’s no information to suggest anyone was in the home at the time.

Investigators are on the scene trying to determine the cause and the origin of the fire.

Residents are still advised to avoid the area to allow crews to work safely.
